Gary is a husband, father, photographer, surfer, cyclist and climber that calls the rugged and wild landscape of Cornwall in the South West of the UK his home.

Gary grew up in south London, but toured the world with his parents who ran a travel company, developing a passion for landscapes and exploration. He studied photography whilst working as a bike mechanic and cycle courier in Covent Garden, before landing the job of assistant and studio manager to the late Patrick Lichfield. It was here that Gary really learnt his trade, working for major clients on locations around the world, managing Lichfield’s archive, dealing with press and retouching photographs of the world’s most beautiful women.

As a freelance photographer since 2000. Gary has worked for The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Red Earth Studio, The National Portrait Gallery, The Royal Ballet, Endemol, Elle Décoration, Marie Claire, GQ, Pride, Homes and Gardens, Marks and Spencer, Down The Line Surf Company, Patagonia Pro Store, Areia Photographic, Boots and a host of other publications and private clients.
